Terms of Service

Welcome to D8s. By accessing or using the D8s application, website, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so by applicable law.

2. Account registration and responsibility

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Impersonation of any person or entity is strictly prohibited.

3. Purpose of the Service

D8s is designed to facilitate social connections and dating by encouraging real-world dates through curated activity and venue suggestions. D8s does not guarantee any matches, dates, outcomes, compatibility, or safety. The Service is provided as a platform only.

4. User conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post explicit, offensive, or illegal content
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation
• Misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions
• Attempt to bypass match limits or platform restrictions

5. Dating safety and offline interactions

D8s does not conduct background checks on users unless explicitly stated. All in-person interactions are undertaken at your own risk. We strongly encourage meeting in public places and informing a trusted person of your plans.

6. Businesses and third-party experiences

Venue partners and experience providers listed on D8s are independent third parties. D8s does not control, endorse, or guarantee the quality, safety, or availability of any third-party experiences or promotions.

7. Content ownership and license

You retain ownership of the content you submit to D8s. By posting content, you grant D8s a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

8. Intellectual property

All software, branding, logos, and design elements of the Service are owned by D8s and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

9. Account termination

D8s reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the self-service account deletion feature within the app.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

In no event shall D8s be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you have paid to D8s in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless D8s, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

14. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
